...and we are looking for secondary pupils of all ages to take part. The club will carry a membership fee designed to cover consumable materials such as CDs, Minidisks and general running costs. However, the fee will be minimal. There will be plenty to do: primarily there will be lots of jingles and station idents to create as well as working in teams. Once that is done the club will focus on programme making.
The club will teach a range of radio production skills which will enable members to gather a portfolio of their work. This portfolio can then be submitted to gain a recognised qualification in radio production*. It has not been confirmed whether the qualification will be accredited by NCFE or OCN.
Application forms for BCLC Radio will be available to download from the download section shortly.
*There may be an additional cost for those interested in taking this qualification.

This is a great opportunity to really get into the world of radio broadcasting and production. It is also perfect for people that are good at managing projects, people and time and wish to develop skills valuable in any workplace or university.
BCLC Radio will meet at the CLCs on Thursday from 16.00 - 18:00
