BBC News School Report - Practice Day February 2008

Watch the video above to see the final outcome of the February practice day. The pupils were split into teams working on television news, radio news and pre-planned reports that were edited and filmed on the day.

Pupils found, gathered and prioritised the day's headlines before creating scripts ready for the newsreaders to present on television and radio.

Below is the radio broadcast. Both reports met the 2pm deadline and pupils in adjacent rooms could watch or hear the broadcasts as they were presented.

The BBC News School Report day will take place on March 13th 2008. We are planning to stream the broadcasts live.
