Heathrow Expansion

The Government have held a meeting to discuss the planned Heathrow expansion. The expansion has been an issue of contention in the local area as residents worry the plans will result in increased noise and pollution.  Feltham residents are worried that the proposed new runway might have a detrimental effect on their health.  There are also fears that the proposed expansion might lead to houses and facilities being knocked down.  All of this comes in the wake of the recent crash landing at Heathrow and residents are worried that a third runway will compromise their safety as well.  Feltham school, which is on the flight path to Heathrow, feel that teaching will be badly affected as the noise level rises and the environment deteriorate
