The 4Ells Film Festival

Films to be screened at the Waterman's on 23rd, 24th and 25th June

Brentford City Learning Centre's annual film festival, the 4ELLs (Living, Laughter, Life and Love) is to screen this year's entries on 23rd, 24th and 25th June. Primary and secondary schools within Hounslow have developed their films on the theme of 'Imagination'. The theme was determined by a youth panel with representatives from participating Hounslow secondary schools. Students were given access to the latest technology and tutored and supported by Brentford CLC staff to create a range of excellent short films.

The festival is a celebration of months of hard work, enthusiasm and determination from all the partners and schools involved in this project. The Four Ells has provided the opportunity for exploring, learning through film, making mistakes, sharing, being creative, innovating and most importantly having a lot of fun.

All submitted films will be screened locally at the Watermans Arts Centre. A selection of the films submitted will be chosen for screening at the National Film Theatre on the Southbank.

Participating Hounslow Schools

  • Green Dragon Primary
  • Lionel Primary
  • Our Lady & St John's Primary
  • St Paul's CE Primary
  • Brentford School for Girls
  • Gumley House Convent
  • Feltham Community School

It is anticipated that all submitted entries will be able to be viewed on the Brentford CLC web-site.  This will mean anyone who is interested, who cannot make the screening, will be able to see the completed films on-line.
