Primary Schools: Animation
These workshops are a great way to address Design and Technology, ICT and Art and Design all at the same time.
Working in 3D with plasticine or in 2D with paper, children use Apple Mac computers to create stop-frame animations. These short animations can take a long time to create which is why we are able to visit your school in order to do the preparation work.
Children will have to come up with narrative ideas and a script before creating the scenery and characters. Once that is done we are ready to start a half-day session in the CLC to bring the creations to life.
If there is time the option to create sound effects using (Garageband) is available on the Apple Mac computers.
